Product Description:

Created by Castle Eden Brewery in 2002, Camerons is the major regional independent brewery in Durham. Using the best available ingredients, including water sourced from its own well, Camerons aims to deliver quality craft beers to real ale enthusiasts.

Monkey Stout

Monkey Stout presents an espresso black, with a tan head and rouge highlights. The aroma is subtle and sweet, comprised primarily of dark fruits – plums and raisins – vanilla, a woody character and a light, smoky roast. The flavours are similarly light and sweet, demonstrating none of the bitter or burnt characteristics often associated with the style. The mouthfeel is creamy and smooth, adding to the moorish drinkability of the beer, and making Camerons Stout sure to appeal to those who enjoy Mackesons, Murphys or other medium to sweet stouts.

Featured Beer
Dieu du Ciel Equinoxe du Printemps 341ml Bottles

The marriage of two great traditions, Scottish strong ale, and Canadian maple syrup. The result is a brooding, complex ale – powerful malt flavours are superbly accented by subtle maple syrup sweetness. Added complexity comes from flavours of tobacco, dried fruits and peppery alcohol. Brewed just once a year, this beer will not last long.
