The Fürstenberg brewery is situated in the town of Donaueschingen in the Black Forest. Its tradition dates back to 1283 when King Rudolf von Habsburg granted the right to brew beer to Count Heinrich von Fürstenberg. Over the centuries Fürstenberg has gained an enviable reputation for the taste and quality of its hand crafted beer. Fürstenberg beers are all pure and natural products and are only brewed with the finest hops, selected malts and fresh Black Forest water.

Pours a lovely golden color, faint grassy hops aromas. Great malt flavours, very well balanced, clean and crisp. Perfect session beer. One of the best lager beers coming out of Germany at the moment.
