Brewdog’s new and improved second batch of Hardcore IPA – the same recipe which took out Gold in the Imperial India Pale Ale category at the 2010 World Beer Cup.
According to Brewdog this incredible beer is the most heavily hopped in the UK. It has a whopping 150 International Bittering Units (IBUs), lashings of Centennial, Columbus and Simcoe hops in aroma and flavour, a rich malt profile and 9.2% ABV alcohol. However, like all truly great beers, the hallmark here is balance, which makes this extreme beer surprisingly drinkable.

Once, every farm in Norway was required by law to brew its own ale. All of that ale had a natural smoky taste because the malt was kilned by fire, and most of it was spiced with juniper berries. Norwegian Wood, a recreation of that traditional style, is made by the "Hand Brewery" - four guys brewing in their spare time, on an absurdly small scale.
